Interior design: Laboratorul de Arhitectură
Architects: Laurenţiu Stănescu
Type: public space (bars, coffee house)
Surface: 180 sqm
Execution year: 2013
Style: eclectic (mix of minimalist, classic elements and pop-art graphic)
Antik Bistro represented a challenge for the architecture team, due to the need of mixing several architectural programs for the same space: a wine bar, a restaurant and a lounge, that could be turned into a club during the night.
Concept and execution
Antik project is located in an old house basement, with brick walls and arches. Starting with the desire to preserve its identity and spin its look into a modern skin. The rough, natural background was sweetened with a mix of modern furniture, pop art elements, classic stylish chairs and customized paintings with stories to tell. A precious touch was created through a sparkly, contrasting chandelier and golden elements such as the bar or the couches.
Antik Bistro has an eclectic look derived from the fusion of minimalist and classic elements along with pop-art graphics, which bring life and good vibe to any interior space.
